My aim is to help my clients learn the value of their experiences, develop new coping behaviors and skills to feel empowered and achieve their goals.
I employ many specific methods of psychotherapy that align with Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) philosophy, are Evidence-informed, but have different objectives. These may include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and Biofeedback.
In each session, clients will collaboratively set an agenda of problems to be discussed. The clinician will work with the client to acquire tools to help them through their week. Session frequency and duration are structured to fit a client’s specific needs and goals.
Medication, Treatment Center, and Psychological Testing referrals are available for clients who need assistance in these areas.
