Eva S. Reichel, RCSWI

 

Eva S. Reichel (she/her) is a bilingual English-Spanish therapist who obtained her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from New York University.

Eva has extensive experience providing therapy in private practice & community mental health settings. She is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) for chronic pain, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Care. Eva has obtained specialized training on Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), a nationally recognized evidence-based training program for maternal mental health. Eva also brings experience working in clinical research settings including the Youth Anxiety Center (YAC) at the Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital and CUCARD in Manhattan. Eva has co-authored published research on evidence-based treatments for anxiety in young adults and has presented her research in renowned national conferences.

Eva is passionate about serving college-aged young adults, adults, and birthing parents who are impacted by anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, OCD, emotion dysregulation, depression, chronic pain, trauma or difficult life transitions (i.e., transition to college/work, immigration/acculturation, and the journey from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and all stages of parenthood).
